Michael Shawn Crahan, known by his stage persona 'Clown', is an American musician born on September 24, 1969. He co-founded the heavy metal band Slipknot, where he is the percussionist with the designation #6. Crahan is the longest-serving original member of the band and has been deeply involved with Slipknot's media production and music videos. Besides, he directed the action thriller Officer Downe and has been part of side projects To My Surprise and Dirty Little Rabbits.
