Owain Park, born in Bristol in 1993, is a notable British composer whose works are published by Novello and performed by renowned ensembles such as the Tallis Scholars and the Aurora Orchestra. Educated at Cambridge University, he studied orchestration under John Rutter and completed a Masters in composition. An accomplished conductor, Park is involved with numerous ensembles including the BBC Singers and the Academy of Ancient Music. He directs The Gesualdo Six, known for their renditions of renaissance and contemporary music. Park is a Fellow of the Royal College of Organists and received the Dixon Prize for improvisation.
