Nicky Ryan

Nicholas Dominick Ryan, born 14 July 1946 in Dublin, Ireland, is an Irish music producer, recording engineer, and manager known for being the business and recording partner of Enya. Ryan's career gained momentum in Dublin during the 1970s and 1980s through work with artists such as Gary Moore, Planxty, and Clannad. He began as a sound engineer for Clannad in 1975 and later pursued a partnership with Enya, serving as her producer and alongside his wife Roma as her lyricist. Ryan's innovative methods included creating a unique speaker system to help deaf children experience music through vibration, showcasing his dedication to sound engineering and music production.
