Michael Nyman

Michael Laurence Nyman, born on 23 March 1944, is an English composer, pianist, and musicologist known for his film scores, particularly his collaboration with filmmaker Peter Greenaway, and his multi-platinum soundtrack for Jane Campion's 'The Piano'.
