John Jay Hilfiger

John Jay Hilfiger's career in higher education as music professor, administrator, and statistical consultant spanned three decades. He studied horn at the Eastman School of Music, psychology at the University of Rochester, and biostatistics at Temple University. Hilfiger completed a M.Mus. at Binghamton University and a Ph.D. in music at the University of Iowa. A retired music professor, Hilfiger taught at various colleges, was a horn player in multiple symphonies, and conducted the Fond du Lac Chamber Orchestra. He published over 200 compositions and arrangements and wrote numerous articles and reviews`[1]`.
