George Stiles

George William Stiles, born 9 August 1961, is an acclaimed English composer renowned for his contributions to musical theatre. In collaboration with his writing partner Anthony Drewe, Stiles has created several award-winning shows. Notably, their work 'Honk!' bagged the Laurence Olivier Award for Best New Musical. Other successful projects include the musical adaptation of 'Mary Poppins' and 'Half a Sixpence'. Stiles is also a founding board member of Mercury Musical Developments and is instrumental in nurturing new musical talent in the UK through the annual Stiles and Drewe Prize.
