Robert William Gary Moore (4 April 1952 – 6 February 2011) was a Northern Irish musician known for his work in various groups and a range of music genres, including blues, blues rock, hard rock, heavy metal, and jazz fusion. Influential in his style were Peter Green and Eric Clapton. His career started in the 1960s with Skid Row, later joining Thin Lizzy, and embarking on a successful solo career highlighted by the hit 'Parisienne Walkways'. Moore's album 'Still Got the Blues' became the most successful of his career. He died from a heart attack in 2011 while on holiday in Spain【27†source】.
