Professor Géza Ellák Jenő Szilvay, born on 13 September 1943, is a prominent Hungarian violinist, teacher, and conductor. He co-founded the Helsinki Strings with his brother Csaba Szilvay in 1972. As an innovator in music education, he created the renowned Colourstrings teaching method, revolutionizing violin pedagogy and influencing musical instruction in Finland and beyond.
