Daryl Runswick, born on 12 October 1946 in Leicester, is a prolific English composer, arranger, jazz musician, producer, and educationalist. His career spans working with jazz legends like Dick Morrissey and John Dankworth in the 1960s, composing for films and TV, and producing music. He held the position of Head of Composition Faculty at Trinity College of Music from 1995 to 2005.
