More about Antonín Dvořák
Antonín Dvořák was a Czech composer who incorporated the folk music motifs of Moravia and his native Bohemia into his works. Starting his musical education and composing at a young age, Dvořák gained recognition with the help of Johannes Brahms. His Slavonic Dances and Stabat Mater brought him international success. Dvořák's later years took him to the United States, where he directed the National Conservatory of Music and composed major works like the 'New World' Symphony. He was also known for his operas, chamber music, and the long-lasting influence of his compositions on Czech national music.
