Malcolm Arnold

Sir Malcolm Henry Arnold CBE was an English composer, with music spanning many genres. Notable for his nine symphonies and scores for over a hundred films, including the Oscar-winning 'The Bridge on the River Kwai.' His music is characterized by tonal harmonies, lively rhythms, and brilliant orchestration. He was also known for extensive work for the theatre and his engagement with the Royal Ballet.
