FAQs
Your nkoda subscription explained
Can I try nkoda for free?
Of course! You’ll need to set up an account to access your free trial - during your trial, you’ll have complete and unlimited access to all content and features on nkoda.
You will need to subscribe to our monthly or annual subscription (don’t worry, you won’t be charged until the trial is over). Once your free trial is finished, you will automatically be billed either monthly or annually - depending on your selection - unless you cancel your subscription before your trial comes to an end.
If you want to search our content and library without subscribing, you can still do this through the app or on the homepage of our website.
Please note: if you purchased nkoda through an app store, you will be billed by them to the account that you used to purchase your subscription.
Which platforms is nkoda available on?
Our aim is to provide you with access to the music you love through the devices you use everyday.
You can install the app on the following devices:
Apple: iPhones, iPads, Mac desktops
Android: Phones, Tablets
Windows: Windows desktops (running Windows 10)
There’s more information about how to download nkoda on the devices we support, below.
With one subscription you can use nkoda on any of the supported devices that you own – but you can only open one score at a time!

You can search the entire nkoda catalogue for available materials, however, when you try to enter a score, you’ll be prompted to subscribe or start your free trial.
You can also personalise your Discover page based on the instruments you play, and curate your own playlists - you just won’t be able to view the music itself!
Can I re-access my account if I’ve cancelled my subscription? What happens to my library and markings?
Yes, you can! To re-access your account you can log in on the app. To look at scores you will need to subscribe again. Your data will be stored for seven years, so if you decide to come back, all your markings and playlists will still be available.
