Quirin Amper Jr. was a prominent German composer, born on February 22, 1935, in Munich. He played a decisive role in the musical accompaniment for the Klamauk series 'Dick and Doof' among other works. Amper collaborated with Fred Strittmatter and also published some recordings under pseudonyms like Alois Linner, Bert Rosskopf, and Eric Frantzen. He had two sons with Helga Reichel, both of whom are active in the film industry. Amper passed away on December 23, 1998, and was buried in Argelsried.
