Green Day

Green Day is an American rock band formed in 1986 in East Bay, California. They are credited with popularizing mainstream interest in punk rock in the United States, especially with their 1994 album 'Dookie', which is considered a pivotal work in the pop-punk genre. The band has sold approximately 75 million records globally, earning them a position among the best-selling music artists. Green Day has won five Grammy Awards, among other accolades, and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in April 2015.
