Bryce David Dessner is a distinguished American composer and guitarist, born on April 23, 1976. Residing in Paris, Dessner is prominent for his involvement with the rock band the National, co-writing music with his twin brother Aaron and lyricist Matt Berninger. His independent compositional work spans orchestral, chamber and vocal music, often commissioned by esteemed institutions like the Los Angeles Philharmonic and Carnegie Hall.
