Oasis

Oasis were an English rock band formed in Manchester in 1991. Initially known as the Rain, the original lineup included Liam Gallagher, Paul Arthurs, Paul McGuigan, and Tony McCarroll, with Noel Gallagher joining later. The band went through various lineup changes with the Gallagher brothers as constants. Their debut 'Definitely Maybe' became the fastest-selling debut album in British history at the time. The follow-up, '(What's the Story) Morning Glory?' is one of the best-selling albums of all time. Known for their chart rivalry with Blur and wild lifestyles, Oasis had massive concerts, such as two nights at Knebworth in 1996. Lineup changes continued with several departures and additions until their split in 2009 after Noel's departure. At the height of their career, Oasis sold over 75 million records worldwide.
