Ennio Morricone OMRI was an Italian composer, orchestrator, conductor, trumpeter, and pianist known for his wide-ranging musical styles. He created over 400 scores for cinema and television and more than 100 classical works. Morricone is hailed as one of the most prolific and celebrated film composers, with accolades that include two Academy Awards, three Grammys, and others. His notable works include scores for Sergio Leone's films and 'The Good, the Bad and the Ugly'.
