Christopher Norton

Christopher Norton, born on June 22, 1953, in New Zealand, is a British pianist and composer renowned for his Jazz music. His compositions are pivotal in piano learning and are notably included in the ABRSM piano grades curriculum. Post-studies at the University of Otago, Norton engaged in composition and piano roles, moving to the UK in 1977 on a scholarship. He contributed to educational music through his Microjazz series, published by Boosey & Hawkes, which became a substantial educational series.
