Matteo Franceschini

Matteo Franceschini, born in 1979 in Trento into a musical family, began his composition studies with his father. He graduated from Milan's 'Giuseppe Verdi' Conservatoire, studied at Rome's 'Santa Cecilia' National Academy, and attended the Ircam Cursus in Paris. A recipient of numerous awards and commissions, his compositions have been performed internationally, and he has been recognized with accolades such as the Silver Lion at the 2019 Venice Biennale. Franceschini is also involved with Agon, a prominent Italian institution for Acoustic and Musical Informatics, and teaches composition in Italy`[1]``[2]`.
