Brock Willard (b. 1996) is a Kansas-born composer, tenor, and trombonist experienced in the performance and composition of varied musical styles. His accomplishments include being chosen as the 2021 Kansas Federation of Music Clubs Composer of the Year, being selected to attend the 2019 Atlantic Music Festival, collaborating with local artists to premiere works on the 2019 Pittsburg Summer Music Festival, publishing through T.U.X. People’s Music out of Denton, Texas, and writing music for professional soloists and ensembles, including soprano Whitley Chesney, tenor Alexander Chesney, trumpetist Erica Baldwin, violinist Bryan Amor, oboist Colton Sprenkle, pianists Virginia Darling and Devon Turner, the Pittsburg State University Chorale and Wind Ensemble, the Southeast Kansas Symphony and Divisi Vocal Ensemble. His accomplishments as a tenor include singing with Divisi Vocal Ensemble, working in masterclasses with mezzo sopranos Jesse Wright Martin and Naomi Louisa O'Connell, and winning in the tenor category of the 2016 Barbara Rondelli Classical Voice Competition. He studied voice with Patrick Howle and composition with John C. Ross and is a proud member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity.
